BEHIND THE SCENES
The “Immigrants, American Made” design was created for the sole purpose of bringing pride, recognition, and respect to those who have come before us and those who continue to conquer a new life in this great country.
The word “Immigrant” has had many connotations throughout the life of this country, some quite negative. And that shouldn’t be the case at all. Immigrants have made great contributions to the fabric of this country and we should all be very proud of the foundation that our fore bearers have left for us to inherit. Whether you’re a descendant of immigrants or an immigrant yourself, it is our collective duty to continue practicing our traditions, sharing our culture, and speaking our languages, all while supporting one another in this great country that we have the honor of calling home.
And so here’s my contribution to celebrating and honoring the legacy of Immigrants, American Made.
These one-of-a-kind pieces are hand made of sustainably-sourced oak plywood with a gold finish or wood stain of choice. No two pieces are alike due to natural variations in wood grains and the hand crafted nature of the design.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS:
Sustainably sourced oak plywood, natural grain patterns and textures
Handmade: all stenciling, cutting, sanding, and staining by hand. Gold finishes are spray painted.
Modern, original design by J.D. Botia, featuring intricate detailing for a realistic rendition
Hidden bracket system allows for concealed assembly between letters
Hanging brackets create a “floating” appearance for an attractive wall mount
Dimensions are approximately: 18”x30” (approx. 46cm x 76cm), 3/4 inch (~2cm) thickness
